Julie, a kindergarten teacher, is also preparing for a long-awaited trip to Verona. Julie is fascinated by the Italian town that is the setting for William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
Unfortunately, Julie's passion for the vacation fades after her boyfriend, Brandon, abruptly ends his relationship with her. So Julie has to travel alone, but she wants to explore the local culture.
When she arrives at her reserved villa, Julie discovers she has been double-booked, forcing her to share both her villa and her holiday with Charlie, a cynical but handsome Brit who is Romeo's house wine expert. Juliet. After an apparent argument between the Montagues and the Capulets, the pair are forced to live in the same villa and spend time together. As they get to know each other better in the picturesque town, they eventually fall in love.
Why does Charlie let Julie live in the villa?
The manager of the villa arrives and admits that he was accidentally double booked due to a booking error. Charlie learns that Julie has broken up with her boyfriend and has nowhere else to go. So Charlie agrees to stay with her in the villa.

Julie's partner, Brandon, tells her that he's demanding a break from their partnership before going out on the town, leading her to think of him as anything but her ex. Similarly, when Charlie was in Verona, his relationship with Cassie was on hold.

Charlie and Julie get mad at each other and start a conflict to get the other kicked out of the villa. Charlie offers a peace deal to Julie, who gladly accepts, after a practical joke goes too far and the couple land in legal trouble. While exploring the splendor of Verona, Julie and Charlie begin to spend time together and get to know each other better.
Charlie expresses how his views on romantic relationships and love conflict with Julie's. However, he quickly realizes and understands Julie's love for Verona. Soon the two begin to feel true love for each other.
When Charlie and Julie decide to declare their love for each other, the shattered remnants of their previous relationship follow them to Verona and their romance takes off. Cassie, Charlie's girlfriend, appears spontaneously in town. Brandon also goes to Verona to get back with Julie. Charlie and Julie are forced to make critical choices that will affect their future and ultimately their relationship with each other.
Throughout the story, Julie's departure changes her perspective on the trip. She is surprised when Brandon shows up in town unannounced. Additionally, Julie and the audience are completely unprepared for Charlie's surprising relationship with Cassie. However, his presence makes Julie think about her love for Charlie. Charlie also faces an obstacle after learning that Brandon is back in Julie's life.
Why do Charlie and Julie end their relationship with their ex-partners forever?
Cassie and Brandon meet up with Charlie and Julie, who have undergone transformations. When Brandon finds Julie, she tells him that her relatives and co-workers miss her, but remains silent about it when asked if she misses him. In Charlie's case, Cassie refuses to let go of Charlie, despite the numerous breakdowns in their relationship.
Brandon takes Julie out to dinner at one of the most popular restaurants in town. Despite this, the newly reconciled couple cannot keep a table in the restaurant. Charlie and Cassie arrive and immediately invite Brandon and Julie to accompany them. Julie uses the situation to make Charlie jealous.
Brendon proposes to Julie after dinner. However, Julie realizes that she doesn't really belong with Brandon. Her time with Charlie taught her that her quirks and flaws are also worthy of love. As a result, she rejects Brandon's proposal because he is not an ideal match for her.
Meanwhile, Charlie ends his relationship with Cassie after realizing he is completely in love with Julie. Cassie and Brandon try to reconcile with Charlie and Julie, but they can't.
As far as Julie is concerned, Brandon is just a closed book. In Charlie's case, he mentally blocks out Cassie and their relationship drama. However, Cassie and Brandon have different ideas.

Charlie sees Brandon propose to Julie and concludes that he is committed to her. As a result, Charlie is unaware that Julie actually rejected Brandon. After speaking with the villa manager, Charlie realizes that his only chance at love is to confess his feelings to Julie. Julie then runs to the villa hoping to catch him before he goes home.
Charlie is up to the challenge and chooses to follow Julie, making her way to the villa. Charlie recreates the famous love scene from "Romeo and Juliet" when Julie stands on the balcony in the final seconds of the film.
Julie is convinced that Charlie is the perfect match for her with a heartwarming and overwhelmingly romantic gesture. Julie also confesses her feelings for Charlie and they get together. As a result, the film comes to a satisfying conclusion as Charlie and Julie's journey begins.
Why are Charlie and Julie a perfect match?
Through his interactions with Julie, Charlie comes to the conclusion that his goals and ambitions should not be measured in money. Instead of lowering her expectations and settling for Brandon, Julie realizes that she has the ability to dream and wait for her own Romeo. Due to these understandings, Charlie and Julie ended their relationships with Cassie and Brandon, respectively.
